Four Missions
The world exists in four directions,
so EarthkeepersTV must have four missions.
Indigenous Spirituality - The North Star
The indigenous cultures of the planet are diverse, yet also united in attitudes and teachings about humankind’s relationship with all living things. Demystifying indigenous culture and educating audiences through an indigenous lens is essential for proceeding missions to have context in our ancient relationship with the planet.
Scientific Education - The Sun’s Eastward Rising
Think about Neil deGrasse Tyson, Carl Sagan, or James Burke: their messages resonate because of evidence and data-backed programs. Intricate and deliberate knowledge of our planet, the Solar System, and the Universe we reside in is essential to provide the why to the how?
Environmental Stewardship - The Southward Constant
Environmental stewardship is a way of life. Experts from the seven major planetary biomes give experiential knowledge and functional practices for care-taking each unique environment: tundra, coniferous forest, temperate forest, rainforest, grassland, shrubland, and desert. The planet is a single global system with diverse needs, ranging from extremes in temperature, soil, and amount of light and water. Recording and sharing best practices in unique environments show the great ecological diversity and our role as stewards of life on our planet.
Caretaker of the Wild - Westward Twilight
While humans are alive on the planet for a relatively short amount of time, the planet’s creatures inhabit in perpetuity. Exploring the interconnected roles of both humans and creatures of all walks of life, from the oceans to the deepest caverns, is essential in motivating sustainable practices to live together in peace. There is a place for both humans and animals on the planet. We rely on the planet’s creatures for sustenance and ecosystem services. Giving thanks for all creatures and honoring their unique roles through experiential activity provides a captivating insight into our role as caretakers.
Muscogee Elder Tom Blue Wolf
An internationally recognized indigenous elder, Tom Blue Wolf has traveled the world to connect cultures and methods in environmental stewardship and preservation. A friend of all cultures, Mr. Blue Wolf breaks barriers in the spirit of agape to pursue a unified mission: to heal the planet and fulfill humankind’s role of caretakers for all living things.
